The cool thing about being a Mom the second time around is that I don't FREAK out at the idea of leaving the house with a newborn or bolt out of the shower sopping wet just because the baby is crying. I'm also apparently cool with lugging Jack and Conrad all over California. I always wanted to do something fun over spring break when I was a student but was always too broke. So I made up for missed opportunities by taking our own kids somewhere fun over Conrad's spring break. We hit up San Diego and Sacramento all within a week, only to come home and find out that there were some great things about being too broke to travel back in the day- less taxes. If only I had a picture to post of the look on Joshua's face last night at 2am as he sat at the desk looking for write-offs. But here are some pics of us last week, in happier times:
Joshua and the back of Jack's head, at Sea World
Me and my guys
Joshua and his team
The boys AFTER Sea World
Before Opening Day at Padres Stadium
Conrad and his new found friends
Us not sure who we rooted for given the Dodgers shirt but Padres hat...
Proof we went to the Wild Animal Park
Harrison (my nephew) visiting our homein between our trips to San Diego and Sac town

I LOVE YOUR BLOG!!!! oh man these are great!!!
You're blogging AND you have photos? Who are you? No, really. Who are you? Just kidding. I am so proud of you! Look, you're making memories! I think you guys will be just fine on your own when the time comes for me to let you fly away. :)
P.S. Your mom sent me the nicest email the other day. I heart your family.
You guys really get around! I love that you finally updated your blog and put tons of photos on there. Miss you!
The pictures are so adorable!! I had fun in Bakersfield visiting the little pot-roast!
Yeah for the blog update! I'm glad to hear that it gets easier to get out of the house when you have another one :). I'm still having trouble with that one! I love all the places you went to. You look GREAT by the way.
You're braver than I am! I didn't take the Baby out on a trip until he was at least 9 months! I'm kind of a chicken when it comes to road trips.
Laura - if i had your email i'd be emailing this to you. check out 18141 Leafwood Ln Santa Ana CA 92705 on zillow. the picture of the front of the house isn't very good - it looks much better in person, but could use some new flowers. awesome location because it's right around the corner from me.
Hey freshman slut girl. It's time for a new post. How about that one you told me you were going to write about the summer we had to walk everywhere? Three words to help you get started: blue rapist truck.
